Our business cards are made from 450gsm cardstock, gloss laminated to ONE SIDE ONLY, either single or double sided. The price is the same, so why not make the most of the extra space? Appointment cards, extra business or contact info, or even a loyalty card?

You can pick from several different finishes too, such as matt, gloss or velvet.

Simply upload your design in PDF/X-1a format (be sure to convert all your text to 'curves'. We can also use a good quality JPG file.

Please follow the guidelines in the template below as we need to allow for a 'bleed edge' which will be cut off during the finishing process. Once we have received your images, we will check your artwork and send you a proof copy for approval BEFORE we begin any print process.

This guide will explain what “bleed” is and why it is needed, with illustrations to help you too.

What Is Bleed?
When text or images run to the edge of a sheet of paper, bleed is required. Due to the process of commercial printing, it cannot print to the edge of a sheet of paper like your home printer. Multiple pages are printed on much larger sheets of paper and then cut down to size.
As it is impossible to cut right to the edge of your design, we need a little over the actual ‘finished’ edge of your print as waste cut off or ‘bleed’ edge.

How Much Bleed Do I Need?
The industry standard is to have 3mm of bleed on each edge and a 3mm safe zone inside. This means that the length of each side will be 6mm longer. For example an A4 sheet when lined up correctly with bleed will be 216mm x 303mm. It will then be cut down to its finished size of 210mm x 297mm.

What Is the Safe Zone?
The safe zone is the 3mm inside of the cutting edge in which no text or important information should be placed. Any graphics in this area risk being clipped when cutting.
